SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — KION North America Corporation awarded their top dealers based on 2017 performance at an exclusive, private event held at Topgolf Atlanta on Apr. 10.

Bravo Montacargas received the top honor--the President's Award--for achieving the highest total combined sales for lift trucks and parts.

The Palmetto Award was awarded to KION North America dealers who met or exceeded their annual market plan goals. Those dealers are as follows: AD Lift Truck, Binner-Peters Equipment Corp., Bohnert Equipment, Bravo Montacargas, Capital Industrial Sales and Service, Equipments Industriels BDL, Equipos Mejores, Global Equipment, Hansler Industries, Holt of California, Hurricane Industrial Equipment, Inter Price Logistica, Lift Part Service, Lift Truck Service Center, Manutention Québec, New Tec, Inc., Ri-Go Lift Truck, Ross Equipment Company Inc., Spokane Forklift & Construction Equipment, Williams Machinery, Wisconsin Lift Truck, and Wise Forklift.

The Class Act Award was given to dealers who purchased trucks in each of the five classes. Class Act Award recipients are as follows: Equipment Depot of Ohio, J.M. Equipment Company, Liftec, Inc., Manutention Quebec, and Ring Power.

The following dealers joined the 100 Club for ordering over 100 trucks in 2017: Bennett Material Handling, Bravo Montacargas, Capital Industrial Sales and Service, Equipment Depot of Texas, Hansler Industries, Holt of California, Homestead Materials Handling, Lift Atlanta, Manutention Québec, Ri-Go Lift Truck,The Miner Corporation, Tri-Lift, NC, and Wisconsin Lift Truck.

For ordering just below that 100 truck mark, the following dealers were awarded the Merit Award: Equipment Depot of Ohio, Industrial Parts and Service Co., Inc., Matthai Material Handling, and Select Equipment Sales.

Bravo Montacargas and Wisconsin Lift Truck were recognized as being the top two dealers who ordered the most hydrostat trucks. Bravo Montacargas and Ri-Go Lift Truck were recognized as being the top two dealers who ordered the most electric trucks. Equipos Mejores received the Baoli Dealer of the Year Award for selling the most Baoli brand trucks.

KION North America also awarded the Sales Excellence Award to the dealers who had top sales/order intake in their perspective region of North America. The Sales Excellence Award for Canada was awarded to Manutention Quebec, Inc. In the United States, Wisconsin Lift Truck received the Sales Excellence Award and Bravo Montacargas took home the award for top sales in Mexico/Caribbean.

In addition to their annual awards, KION North America also awarded a performance-based incentive trip to their top five qualifying dealers. The criterion was based on multiple factors including truck sales, parts sales, training participation and more. The qualifying period was Jan. 1- Dec. 31, 2017. The following dealerships earned a trip to Germany in June, which includes a visit to Linde’s World of Material Handling: Bravo Montacargas, Capital Industrial Sales and Service, Manutention Quebec, Ri-Go Lift Truck, and Wisconsin Lift Truck.
